How a flooded village in Kyiv region thwarted the plans of the Russian army. In the village of Demidov, 40 kilometers from the capitals, pumps pumping water have not stopped for more than a month. Local cellars are filled with water, and gardens where vegetables and berries used to be planted have now been turned into lakes.

Some even had water in their homes. People say that the village was flooded to prevent the Russians from going directly to Kyiv. They were forced to leave, the occupiers brutalized, shot civilians, destroyed houses, burned cars and looted.
