

There are no surviving houses in the part of Northern Saltivka that bordered the front line. Scorched entrances. Collapsed facades. The walls are cut with shrapnel. In some places, you can see holes from the impact of shells. There are no windows. The area has been under fire for three months.


The sounds of shelling are still heard constantly – although not as loud as in March or April. The Ukrainian military was able to push the russian army further away from the city. It is still dangerous to be here – locals remember that the missiles can land any second.
