A dog beaten and mined by the Russian occupiers was found near Makariv. According to animal rights activists, the dog was found by local residents in a garbage pit.

How long the animal lay there is unknown. The people who tried to save the Fox noticed in time that the dog had been mined. The dog survived because it could not move or walk. The fox was demined by sappers and handed over to animal rights activists. The dog is currently in a rehabilitation center. In the institution, he is called a peacemaker, because the Fox tries to resolve conflicts between other animals. Animal rights activists point out that the Fox has injured paws, but they have sensitivity, and therefore there is hope that he will be able to walk. The dog needs long-term rehabilitation, for which animal rights activists are raising money. Volunteers call on everyone who cares to give Fox a second happy life.
