In Mariupol the lack of water remains the main problem of the city. Residents are forced to pay kilometers early in order to get into the queues at the water collection points, if they run out of water. This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko. He added that the water is taken through, including canalization wells, where water appeared after the experiments with water supply. The mayor’s advisor said that the water of minimum permissible quality is not available in the city. “Overall, up to 3 percent of Mariupol residents have access to water. Mariupol requires thermal external intervention to solve the water crisis”, Andriuschenko said.
