For the first time since 24 February, seaports of Ukraine have resumed their work. Ships that were loaded with grain back then are ready to leave as soon as our partners, the United Nations and Turkey wait for the “green corridor” towards the Bosporus. Ukraine has done everything possible for the grain export to begin as soon as possible. Ukraine remains the guarantor of world food security. As of now, 17 vessels in the ports “Odessa” and “Chornomorsk” have already been loaded and 10 of them are ready for dispatch. Grain exports will begin with the dispatch of ships that were unable to leave the port due to the start of a large-scale invasion by Russia. We expect to promptly export about 20 million tons of grain of the previous crop and start exporting new grain.
