On the walls in the corridors were dried blood traces of those who got out of the destroyed offices. The floor on all levels was strewn with small shards of glass – the windows flew in after the missiles hit the building, which is why there were so many dead and wounded.

The whole place looks like an open-air museum of terror. A reminder of Russia’s war crimes for which it will one day have to answer.
