They died on the “Road of life”, bringing food, fuel, a generator and medicines to the besieged Chernihiv, and preparing to evacuate more than a hundred residents. On March 30, on the eve of the retreat from Chernihiv Oblast, Russian troops fired at a column of five volunteers’ buses in Yenkiv. Two mines hit next to the vehicles with people in them. As a result of the shelling, four volunteers were injured, three died. Oleksii Antonov died from his injuries. Bohdan Stefanyshyn and 19-year-old Anastasyia Tagirova burnt near one of the buses.
