Around two o’clock in the morning on August 17, the troops of the Russian Federation launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv. It is known that S-300 missiles hit the Black Sea National University named after Petro Mohyla. Houses opposite the facility were damaged by debris and the shock wave. The rockets hit the ramp, the playground where students are celebrating. The blast wave damaged the windows in the reading room and sports hall, in the auxiliary premises of the assembly hall, and in the computer classrooms. On the night of August 19, the educational institution came under fire for the second time.
