On August 28, around 8:15 p.m., the Russian army launched a missile attack on the center of Kharkiv. Two explosions were heard, both rockets exploded near the building of the Kharkiv Regional Administration. An administrative building nearby was destroyed, cars, walls and a traffic light were also damaged. The wreckage of the 5V55 missile of the S300 air defense system was removed. Previously, two rockets were fired from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the shelling, a funnel measuring 10×9.5 meters and almost 5 meters deep was formed.
