Around 8:00 p.m. on 11 September 2022, the Russian troops shelled two missiles at the critical infrastructure facility in the Kharkiv Kholodnohirskyi district. The plant is crucial for electricity supply in the region. The facility equipment and the administrative building caught fire, the building was severely damaged. Consequently, power was cut off in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions; Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions experienced partial problems with power supply. Four plant workers were killed, and three people were injured. The charred body of an employee of the enterprise was found at the scene. Currently, the search and rescue of another employee is ongoing. At the same time, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at another critical infrastructure facility in the Chuhuiv district, causing a fire. It is preliminary known that the infrastructure facilities were shelled with Kh-101 missiles. The fragments were taken and documented. At midnight, the Russian army fired two rockets at the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv. One of the rockets hit the roof of a residential building. One man died, two more people were injured. Another rocket hit the territory of a non-residential building, partially destructing it. As a result of the shelling, a funnel 9 meters in diameter and 3.5 meters deep was formed. According to preliminary information, the shelling was carried out by S-300 missiles fired from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
