On the evening of 14 September 2022, the Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack most likely was carried out by Kh-101 missiles shelled from Tu-95MS bombers. They hit the city western outskirts. According to preliminary data, the Russian army fired eight cruise missiles at Kryvyi Rih, directing the maximum number of weapons at hydrotechnical structures, in an attempt to create an emergency situation. Water supply was suspended in some districts of Kryvyi Rih: in particular, in Saksahanskyi and Tsentralno-Miskyi, according to the local residents. The water level in the Ingulets River rose. Per preliminary data, there were no casualties.
