In the village of Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv Oblast, the police discovered a torture chamber where Russian soldiers tortured citizens. On September 17, during the inspection, employees of the police department and prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region seized documents confirming the functioning of the pseudo-police department. It was established that during the occupation of the settlement, the Russians created a pseudo-law enforcement agency “National Militia”. Its representatives set up a torture chamber in the basement of the building, where they subjected civilians to inhuman torture. The police discovered the device with which the Russian occupiers tortured civilians with electric current.
