At night of 18 September, the Russians struck the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region three times with “Grad” systems and heavy artillery. Nikopol itself was shelled twice. Around midnight, almost 30 Russian shells hit it. A woman and two men were injured. Several dozen high-rise and private buildings, cars, several farm buildings, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged in the city. A fire broke out at the local market. A kindergarten, several shops, a hairdresser and the building of the local administration also suffered the enemy shelling.
