Pseudo-referendums on joining the Russian Federation began on September 23 in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. The occupation authorities offer Ukrainians to vote at home, on the street, or at newly created polling stations. Together with the so-called members of the election commissions, armed people come to the locals. In LPR and DPR people are asked: “Do you support joining Russia?”. And on the captured territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions – “Do you support the exit from Ukraine, the creation of an independent state, and its accession to the Russian Federation?”. The “voting” is planned to end on September 27.

In Mariupol in the Kirov district, people are simply stopped on the streets and forced to vote. The second day of the pseudo referendum began with forced voting. “Mobile brigades” awaited workers at their workplaces with a simple condition – vote or lose your job and pay. Several tents were also set up in places of concentration of people Collaborators went along the streets and asked people to vote. The occupation authorities gave out a bottle of drinking water to everyone who came.
