On the night of September 23, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Almost 30 shells were fired at Nikopol and Marhanets with “Grad” MLRS and heavy artillery. As a result of shelling in Marhanets, two people died: a man and a woman. Nine more were injured. Rescuers extracted three of them from under the rubble. Additionally, a house caught on fire in the city. Eight buildings were damaged, and one more was destroyed. 10 houses were destroyed in Nikopol.

One of the private homes in Marhanets which was damaged as a result of shelling by Russian troops on September 23. Fragments of the projectile from the “Grad” launched damaged the windows, the ceiling, broke the chimney and the gas pipe. It left a whole in the backyard. That day, two people died in Marhanets as a result of shelling. At the time of publication, eleven injured were still being treated.
