The Kharkiv Eparchy reported on the destruction of the church in the village of Ruski Tyshky during the Russian occupation. At the beginning of the occupation, it was defiantly robbed: the door was broken, valuable religious items and icons were taken to an unknown place. However, until the end of the summer, the church building remained intact, even though it was on the very front line. In the last days, before fleeing from the northern regions of Kharkiv region, the Russian occupiers burned down the Archangel Michael Church.
