Explosive technicians cleared the dam in the village of Velyki Prokhody. Near the dam, during a check for the presence of explosives, specialists found 175 kilograms of TNT, 68 anti-tank mines, and electric detonators – a total TNT equivalent of about 650 kilograms! According to employees, this is an incredibly large amount of explosives. For understanding, according to experts’ estimates, 500 kg of TNT equivalent was used for the explosion of the North Stream pipe. The consequences of such an explosion would be terrible – the flooding of entire villages and towns.
