Not a single house survived in the liberated village of Dolyna in Donetsk region. The Russian troops left behind a complete ruin. Even in the best times, the village was not densely populated – before the invasion, less than half a thousand souls lived here. Ukrainian paratroopers liberating the village moved on. Civilian residents who managed to leave are not allowed to return – the village must first be checked by sappers. So the only inhabitants of this space are birds, cats, dogs and abandoned pigs. Among the “artifacts” are Russian money and medicines.

Among the ruins is the St. George Hermitage of the Holy Dormition Sviatohirskaya Lavra. On the other hand, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is practically intact. Along the roads – burned enemy equipment.
