In September, as a result of the counteroffensive of the Defense Forces in Kharkiv Oblast, the village of Lyptsi was liberated.
Russian invaders captured the village in first day of a large-scale attack on Ukraine. It was from the direction of this village that columns of Russian armored vehicles were heading towards Kharkiv, and from here the occupiers fired at the residential quarters of the city with MLRS.
The local schools and educational institutions of the village turned into the headquarters of the occupiers and the so-called bases of the people’s militia.
