On October 8, around 00:30, the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv was shelled by the Russian army. The rocket landed in the recreation park. As a result of the explosion, a three-meter diameter funnel 1.5 meters deep was formed. Roofs and window blocks of neighboring residential and administrative buildings were destroyed by the blast wave.
Also, the Russian army launched a missile attack on a residential area in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. A number of buildings and a sports complex were damaged, and a 45-year-old resident was injured. The Russian army shelled Kharkiv with S-300 missiles from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
