Despite the constant patrols of the occupiers activists of the “Zhovta Strichka” (Yellow Ribbon) movement hung new posters around the city. They paint graffiti of the Ukrainian flag and Ukrainian letter Ї and put up leaflets warning Kherson and Melitopol residents not to take Russian passports under any circumstances. They are convinced that Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territory will refuse to receive a Russian passport, just as they refused the referendum.
