On October 18, after 13:00, the Russian military launched an artillery barrage by 122-mm caliber guns from the direction of the Russian Federation in the Khotin community of Sumy district As a result of the shelling, objects of civilian infrastructure and 2 civilian cars were damaged. The rescuers’ premises, a children’s gym and at least 5 houses were destructed. There was no information on civilian casualties. Also during the day, Russian troops struck: Yunakivka community – two dead and one wounded; the dispensary, a heating plant, and a power line were damaged. Nova Sloboda community – mortar shelling. A cultural center, a school, a children’s playground, and a power line were damaged.
