On October 21, in the village of Novyi Burluk, the law enforcement officers exhumed the body of a 10-year-old girl killed by representatives of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, on February 25, 2022, during the shelling of Novyi Burluk in the Chuhuiv district by the russian armed forces, civilian residents – a 58-year-old woman and her 10-year-old granddaughter – were injured. The girl was wounded in the chest.

Her grandparents, trying to save their granddaughter’s life, took the child by car to the hospital located in Chuhuiv. However, on its way to the medical facility, the car came under repeated fire from the Russian soldiers. The girl was shot in the head and died. The next day, the child was buried on the territory of the household, and later reburied at the cemetery in Novy Burluk.
