Law enforcement officers of the Kharkiv region began working at the site of a mass burial of Ukrainian soldiers. They died in April during the withdrawal. According to the testimony of the local residents Russian occupiers collected the bodies in two trucks and threw them into a hole at the cemetery like firewood. The burried bodies were not marked. Villagers put up crosses on Easter and took care of the grave as best they could. On October 27 the police was able to recover only three bodies. In total the corps of about 17 servicemen are burried there. The investigation will last several days.
