In the night of October 28 the Russian army has shelled the Nikopol district from multiple rocket launchers. The threat of shelling lasted from evening until the very morning – for more than 8 hours. Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Nikopol communities have been attacked. People were not injured. A fire broke out in the Chervonohryhorivka community as a result of the shelling. One house was destroyed, another 4 were damaged. A power line was also affected. About a thousand users remained without electricity. In Nikopol, about ten residential buildings, farm buildings, and power lines were damaged. In other areas of Dnipro region, no enemy shelling was recorded at night.
