The harsh realities of the Russian occupation: prosecutors exhumed the corpses of two men who were shot by the Russian military
On November 24, prosecutors together with police investigators exhumed the corpses of two local residents, men aged 28 and 39 near the forest strip in the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, in mid-September, when the village was still under the Russian occupation, they were shot by the Russian Armed Forces.
Residents of the same village reported that they saw the men’s car stall near the Russian checkpoint, after which people heard a gunshot. Gunshot wounds were found on the bodies of the victims in the torso and head.
