As of November 24 Kyiv has deployed so far 259 so called “point of invincibility”. While the Russian army is trying to leave Ukraine without light, heat and water, in the event of an emergency power outage, Points of Invincibility will become so-called safety islands for citizens. There, one can charge the phone, warm up, rest, be provided with water, lighting, mobile communication, Internet and first aid kits, there are also areas for mothers and children. People find various activities at the locations: weaving nets, reading books, chatting. Visitors even had time to set up mini coworking spaces for themselves. They will operate around the clock and free of charge for temporary stays. In addition, the fire and rescue units have open spaces where people can come in, charge their phones and drink hot tea.
