The Russian armed forces kept Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities under the sights of their heavy artillery all night of 5 December. Almost 50 shells hit peaceful towns and villages. Fortunately, there were no casualties. In Nikopol, more than 10 private houses, farm buildings, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, the power line that fed the local water supply pumping station was cut off. More than 9,000 families from several villages and towns were left without water. Energy workers have already started working. Private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in the Marhanets community.
