Snihurivka of the Mykolaiv region was under Russian occupation for eight months. During this time, the town was under constant fire from the Russian army. The liberated territories are heavily mined. Currently, a third of the population remains in the town. The number of population in Snihurivka as of January 1, 2022 was 12,045 people.
