On December 6, 2022, around 01:00, the Izium community was shelled by the Russian Federation. A private house in Zahryzove village, a garage and an outbuilding were significantly damaged. As a result of the shelling, a 55-year-old woman died under the rubble of the house. Another resident of the house, a 48-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot and projectile fragments injuries. On December 6, around 9:25 a.m., the Russian army shelled Kupiansk city center with “Uragan” rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, a 67-year-old woman received projectile fragments wounds. Residential and commercial buildings were damaged. After 5 p.m., a house was on fire in the Dvorichna community. No casualties. Around midnight, the Russian military launched a rocket attack on Borivske village in the Kupiansk region: a school, shops and a cultural center were damaged. According to preliminary data, the shelling was carried out by missiles of the “S-300” type. On December 6, the Russian armed forces did not stop shelling the residential sectors of the Chuhuiv district. In the village of Starytsia the 71-year-old man died as a result of the shelling. A 43-year-old woman died in the settlement of Vilcha, her husband was hospitalized with a projectile fragments wound in a serious condition.
