On the morning of December 16, the Russian military fired artillery at a multi-story building in Kherson. As a result of the shelling, several apartments on the upper floors caught fire. A 70-year-old woman was killed. One man in serious condition was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Two more people were injured, they were given medical assistance on the spot. They received poisoning by combustion products, injuries and burns of varying degrees. Rescuers managed to save 5 more people from the upper floors. The fire was extinguished. On December 16, in Kherson, as a result of enemy shelling, the building of an industrial complex was also on fire. Due to fragments of Russian shells, the fire engulfed the production workshop and the administrative premises of the building. Thanks to the efforts of rescuers, the flames were extinguished. No one was injured.
