During the 24 hours of December 18 to 19, the Russian military held populated areas in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts at their gunpoints. On December 18, as a result of Russian shelling, private houses in the city of Vovchansk were damaged. No casualties or injuries were recorded. Settlements in Kupiansk region were shelled by tanks and different types of artillery. In the afternoon, as a result of Russian shelling in Kivsharivka town, a 31-year-old paramedic was injured; he was wounded with projectile fragments and received medical aid. Windows in a hospital were broken. Also on December 18, in the village of Dvorichna, a Russian projectile hit an outbuilding on the territory of a private household, which immediately caught fire. On December 19, “Grad” set fire to a private house in Dvorichna. In Dvorichna, resquers saved a cat during the consequences of the Russian military shelling liquidation.
