On December 21, around 11:35 p.m., the Russian rockets attacked Kupiansk residential area; private homes were destroyed. On the morning of December 22, the Russian military shelled Vovchansk, hitting the local hospital: 4 employees and a 62-year-old local resident were wounded. They were diagnosed with blast injuries and projectile fragments wounds. Hotel premises, businesses and residential buildings were also damaged. In addition, a 25-year-old man blew himself up in the forest using an unknown explosive device in the village of Protopopivka, Izium district. He was hospitalized.
