On December 23, during the day, the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk district was repeatedly subjected to mortar and artillery fire. Shell explosions damaged a shop; a private house and an outbuilding caught fire. The city of Kupiansk also came under artillery fire. The premises of an enterprise were damaged: the shock wave knocked out the windows and destroyed the fence. The Russian army used similar weapons to attack villages in the Kharkiv district. In the village of Kozacha Lopan, farm hangars were damaged as a result of shelling. In the direction of Chuhuiv, the enemy repeatedly fired artillery at the town of Vovchansk. There was no destruction or loss of life. On December 24, at around 08:00, the military of Russian Federation shelled the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district. A 72-year-old local resident died as a result of the Russian attack. His 74-year-old wife was taken to the hospital with a wound by projectile fragments. A private house and an outbuilding were damaged. At noon, the Russian Federation struck the outskirts of the village of Hrushivka in the Kupiansk district. In the afternoon, the villages of Khatnie and Ambarne of the Velykyi Burluk district came under Russian fire. Russian troops also shelled the territory near the village of Udy in Bohodukhiv district. At night, the Russian artillery barraged the border town of Vovchansk again. Several houses were damaged.
