Volunteers brought food for animals to a resident of Bakhmut, who sheltered 18 abandoned dogs and 22 cats. They found out about the woman by accident, when they brought aid to local residents. They plan to bring more food to the Bakhmut animals next time. “They left, but the animals remained. There was nothing to feed them with. They left all the animals to one person. There are more than twenty dogs, there are also many cats,” said local resident Serhyi about the resident of Bakhmut who sheltered the animals.
