On January 21, the Russian army targeted cities and villages in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv directions. Around 11 a.m., the Russian occupiers shelled the village of Veterynarne of the Derhachi community: a civilian was injured. Fragments of projectiles damaged private houses of local residents, cars and premises of a civil industry facility. Around 6 a.m., Russian servicemen fired artillery at the city of Vovchansk. The Russian shell hit a private house. A 70-year-old woman died. A married couple and their 7-year-old daughter were injured. Also, a 71-year-old man was wounded in Vovchansk as a result of Russian shelling on January 20. A number of residential buildings were damaged. In Kupiansk, a milk-canning plant and two private houses were damaged by Russian troops.
