During the day, the Russian occupiers shelled about a dozen settlements in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Izium and Chuhuiv districts of Kharkiv. During January 26, the Russian army was shelling the border town of Vovchansk unceasingly. Private houses and a trade pavilion were damaged. A 60-year-old woman was injured. On January 26, around 11:45 p.m., the Russian troops opened fire on the city of Kupiansk with rocket launchers. A residential building was destroyed. On the night of January 27, the Russians hit Kupiansk with “S-300” missiles. The premises of the local college were damaged. On January 27, around 2:20 a.m., Russian soldiers fired at a school in the village of Kindrashivka, Kupiansk district. It was prefatory established that it was a “S-300” type missile. As a result of shelling of the village of Petropavlivka, Izium district, a 49-year-old civilian was wounded and hospitalized in moderate condition. In many settlements that came under artillery fire, houses and the surrounding area were damaged, roofs and fences were destroyed, windows and doors were broken.
