The city of Kherson was subjected to a massive shelling by Russian troops on March 18th, with explosions occurring around the clock. The attackers ruthlessly targeted infrastructural facilities of the healthcare system, as well as peaceful residential quarters in the city center, including the Tavriskyi, Korabel, and KhBK microdistricts. In a previous attack, a medical facility was hit by rocket launchers, causing damage to building facades, windows, doors, and vehicles. The surrounding houses also suffered damage, with roofs and walls broken and the asphalt surface torn. The settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts were not spared either, as they were hit by shelling from mortars, MLRS, artillery, and tanks. Private houses and shops were targeted by the Russian military in these areas.
