On April 15, 2023, the army of the Russian Federation carried out an attack on the residential quarters of the city of Kherson. The Russian soldiers hit the territory of one of the schools of Kherson city, as a result of which two women died on the spot – a 48-year-old woman and her 28-year-old daughter. Russian artillery struck the Tavryiskyi district of the city of Kherson. Russian shells hit the territory near the educational institution. The Russian occupiers shelled suburban settlements. So far, it is known about one wounded civilian. Apartment buildings and private houses were damaged, as well as the building of the penal institution. According to preliminary data, fire on civilian objects was carried out from barrel artillery.
