On April 18, 2023, the Russian troops launched the shelling in the center of Kherson, targeting the places with the largest crowds.
A 46-year-old man died on the spot as a result of artillery shells hitting the territory of the Central Market, nine more citizens were injured.
Trade pavilions were damaged. Several cars and houses were damaged within a radius of several blocks – on Robocha, Yaroslava Mudroho and Mayakovskoho streets.
The Russians struck the village of Zmiivka of the Beryslav community. Russians targeted the building of the local school, and also damaged the premises of the medical clinic. Civilians were not harmed by this Russian attack.
