Later, applying psychological pressure, the citizen was placed in the back of the car “Ural” with the symbol “Z” and taken to the place where the occupiers were constantly stationed. The 41-year-old commander of the motorized rifle brigade gave the order to take the detainee to the basement of a private house for questioning in order to obtain information about servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as local residents who help the Ukrainian army. The detainee was placed in the cellar of the household, assigned a serial number and ordered to respond to it. The man was kept in humiliating conditions for 7 days in the absence of sufficient food and water. The victim was systematically beaten with a machine gun butt, a stick, an electric shocker was used, and he was branded with a red-hot iron poker. After another interrogation and beating, the man was taken to the village. Rubtsi, Izyum district, where he was kept in a shed for 30 days, forced to clean the streets and dig trenches. The same fate awaited a 49-year-old local resident, a former member of the ATO. Another, 48-year-old man was also held in the same cellar, where 5 people were already, by order of the suspect. The former ATO soldier spent about a week in inhumane conditions. After another questioning, the man was released and ordered not to leave his place of residence. For the crimes committed, the 41-year-old brigade commander faces up to 12 years in prison.
