On May 21, around 12:00 p.m., the Russian military shelled a settlement in the Nova Kakhovka community. A local resident received non-life-threatening injuries. The Russian occupiers fired with artillery at the civilian population. Houses and farm buildings were damaged. On May 22, around 12:30 p.m., the Russian military once again shelled the village of Stanislav with artillery. A 47-year-old man died from a shrapnel wound in the heart. He was repairing the roof of the house when the Russian armed forces began to shell the settlement. Also, on May 22, 2023, the city of Beryslav was once again under the Russian air attack, the Russians launched guided bombs on the industrial zone. The towns of Kozatske and the village of Vesele of the Nova Kakhovka urban community came under fire from the Russian troops, and two women were injured. The Russians shelled the village of Kachkarivka, as a result of which a 62-year-old local woman received a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds. In Kherson, civilian buildings in the center of the city, in the Korabel, KhBK, Tavriyskyi microdistricts and in the suburbs were hit. In high-rise buildings, windows were broken, balconies were damaged, in shops and pharmacies there was not a single surviving window.
