On May 27, the Russian army once again attacked peaceful settlements of the Kherson region with artillery, mortars, tanks, aviation and UAVs. From aviation, the Russian troops hit Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, Urozhaine villages and Beryslav city. The explosions of guided bombs damaged the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise, residential buildings, a hospital and the territory of a factory. In the village of Sadove, Russian shelling damaged private houses.
A 61-year-old woman was injured. She was taken to the hospital in moderate condition.
The residential quarters of Kherson were attacked by the Russian army around the clock, the city center and coastal areas were under artillery and mortar fire from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro river. Private and apartment buildings were damaged by enemy shells, with windows, doors and roofs smashed and shattered. An 86-year-old woman was hit by shelling near her house in the Zhytloselyshche neighborhood. The victim was taken to the hospital with mine-blast trauma, wounds to her upper and lower limbs, face, and torso. The building of the Kherson regional council was also damaged.
