The other day, the enemy fired a FAB-500 aerial bomb at residents of Niu-York, Donetsk region. The projectile hit the residential sector of high-rise buildings and did not explode. Specialists of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and local authorities took measures to limit people’s access to the danger zone, alert the public about the danger, and evacuated residents of buildings that are in the affected zone. Pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service manually dismantled the detonator of the aerial bomb and put it in a condition suitable for transportation. After that, the dangerous ammunition was taken out of the zone where the explosion could cause critical destruction of residential buildings, and was destroyed at a special blasting site.
