Kherson and Beryslav districts were targeted once again by the Russian military on July 5. In a morning artillery shelling incident in the village of Antonivka, a local man was wounded near his house. Later in the day, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Russian occupiers fired upon Ivanivka village in the Kherson region, resulting in a head injury for a 58-year-old local resident. Another attack occurred during the distribution of humanitarian aid in Sadove village, where a woman was injured.
The shelling caused significant damage, including to houses, farm buildings, power lines, gas pipelines, an official vehicle belonging to a postal operator, and three cars belonging to an organization involved in the distribution of humanitarian aid. Two women were injured during the attack. Meanwhile, the village of Zmiivka experienced an airstrike by the Russian army, resulting in damage to residential buildings and agricultural machinery. Shevchenkivka village was hit approximately thirty times, causing damage to residential and farm structures, fortunately without any casualties.
In the evening, around 7:00 p.m., a village in the Bilozerka community fell under artillery fire from the Russian occupiers. A 58-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and five civilians, including a 10-year-old boy, were wounded by shrapnel, suffering from mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, and acute stress reactions.
Kherson, particularly the Korabel microdistrict, city center, Dniprovskyi district, coastal zone, and suburbs, continues to bear the brunt of the Russian attacks. Antonivka village was also targeted by Russian aircraft, damaging warehouses and a hangar within the premises of a non-operational enterprise.
