On July 9, 2023, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled the city of Beryslav, Kherson region. As a result of shelling, a hospital building was damaged and the 45-year-old head of the medical facility was wounded. A 59-year-old man who was at the bus stop was also wounded.
Also during the day, the Russian armed forces once again attacked the village of Antonivka. At the time, there was a man in the yard of a private house who had received head injuries. A 66-year-old woman was also injured, she has a landmine-explosive injury, concussion and fatal head wounds.
The town of Kozatske was under air strikes by Russian troops, an educational institution building and the surrounding houses were damaged by explosions.
Russian occupation troops from the temporary occupied left bank of the Dnipro river shelled the coastal areas of Kherson, the center, Korabel and “Kherson Mill” micro-districts.

During July 10, Russian troops continued to inflict massive strikes on the Beryslav and Kherson districts, Kherson city and its suburbs. Almost all districts of Kherson were under attack from the Russian occupiers; Korabel microdistrict and Dniprovskyi district were affected the most, where shells hit residential buildings. A 48-year-old man was seriously wounded in the Naftohavan district as a result of an artillery shelling. In the village of Inzhenerne, shells damaged two multi-story buildings and wounded two 78-year-old women.
